Family Medical Records is an offline app from ColadoSystems that runs in your web browser from a folder on your own device. It costs $24.99 once, with no subscription and no account, and includes 10 tools, sample data to explore and a PDF guide. Your records stay on your device and are never uploaded.

Everything is saved inside your browser on this device. Nothing is uploaded and there is no account, so no company holds a copy of your family’s medical records. They are not encrypted, though: anyone who can use this device and browser can open them, so keep the device locked. Download a backup regularly (Settings → Data & backup → Back up now) and keep it somewhere as safe as the records themselves.
Yes. Open index.html and it runs fully offline. You can also host the folder on any website and choose “Install app” in Chrome or Edge to get a desktop or phone icon that works offline.
Yes. The layout adapts to phones and tablets with a bottom navigation bar. Each device keeps its own data, so use Back up / Restore to move records between devices.
Go to Settings → Data & backup → Erase records. Your business profile and settings are kept; all sample records are removed.
No. It is a filing cabinet for your own copy of your family’s paperwork — what you already know, written up at home. Your doctor holds the real record; this is not a substitute for anything your practice, pharmacy or hospital holds, and it gives no diagnosis and no medical advice.
No, and it never will. Medications, allergies and conditions are simply what a family member typed in, with nothing checked, cross-referenced or flagged by the app. It will not tell you if two medicines should not be taken together, and it gives no dosing guidance of any kind. That is a conversation for your pharmacist or doctor.
No. Records are saved in this browser, on this device only, exactly as typed. They are not encrypted, nothing is uploaded, and anyone who can use this device and browser profile can read them — including your children’s health details. Keep the device locked with a password and a screen lock, and treat backup files and printed sheets with the same care you would a passport.
Only as far as you trust what was typed in. The app follows no official immunisation schedule and does no calculation of its own — every “due” date is the one you copied from the red book, a card or a letter. A medication’s repeat date works the same way: it is exactly the date you set, not a calculation from when it was last ordered.
Hand it over as a starting point and say out loud that it is your own family’s summary, not the practice’s record. Nothing on it has been checked by any software. If something is genuinely urgent, call your doctor or the emergency services — do not rely on this app or the sheet as the last word.
